Solution: Socrates!!!!!

Kastenbaum, Robert. "Socrates." Macmillan Encyclopedia of Death and Dying. Ed. Robert Kastenbaum. Vol. 2. New York: Macmillan Reference USA, 2002. 769-772. Gale Virtual Reference Library. Web. 26 Mar. 2010.

The author is Kastenbaum, Robbert. He wrote about Socrates' life including his family, his thought, and his death. According to his wrting, Socrates' midwifery is from his mother. His mother was a midwife, and he came up with an idea. Midwife helps a pregnancy give a birth. From the viewpoint, Midwifery means that teachers are people who help others to deliver themseilves of their conceptions". I thought it will help my research because my research is about finding out Korean education's weaknesses and find solutions from greek education philosophers. By surveying Socrates and other philosophers, I want to find solutions from them like Midwifery, inteelecualism, or Moderation.

I read Vivi's and Quynh's.

  1. That's right! In America this is how we are told we should teach - helping the student find the answer, not just giving them the answer.
